Ahmad Corbitt Career
Elder Ahmad S. Corbitt was confirmed as a new General Authority Seventy on April 1, 2023. On April 4, 2020, Brother Corbitt was confirmed as the first counsellor in the Young Men general presidency. He graduated from Richard Stockton College in New Jersey with a bachelor’s in sociology, and the Rutgers University School of Law awarded him a law degree. He worked in the San Juan Mission in Puerto Rico as a young full-time missionary. Afterwards, he held the position of leader of the Santo Domingo East Mission in the Dominican Republic.
He taught that youth can successfully gather Israel because of their eternal identity and the tremendous faith they possess during the general conference in April 2021. On October 4, 2022, he addressed chaplains supported by the Church and discussed how anti-Church action can deceive and blind brave souls. From October 27 to November 9, 2022, he travelled with Sunday School General President Mark L. Pace to Madagascar, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa.
