It has been revealed that Falcon, a star of Gladiators, passed away at the age of 59. The TV icon, whose true name was Bernadette Hunt, passed away tragically after a cancer struggle. The news of Hunt’s passing was shared on Facebook by her sister’s partner, Rick Jango. The message stated: “I must inform you with great grief of the passing of Bernadette Hunt, the younger sister of my partner. She is primarily remembered as Falcon from the popular television series Gladiators.”
“She was one of the most charming persons I have ever met, and I had the luxury of being in her company a few times. She was known as the friendliest “Gladiator,” often stopping to talk and sign autographs for everyone. She never spoke ill of anyone.” “She had been battling cancer for several years until regrettably, she lost the fight,” the announcement’s final words read. “R.I.P. Bernie.”
In the popular television programme, which was hosted by Ulrika Jonsson and John Fashanu and featured regular people pitted against a “Gladiator” in front of an arena audience, Hunt assumed the role of Falcon.
