Brian Brenberg News

The Big Money Show, a new daytime roundtable programme from Fox Business, will pay homage to the format’s popularity across all of Fox News Media’s properties.

Taylor Riggs, an editor, writer, and anchor who has worked for Bloomberg for more than nine years, will join the Fox Corporation-backed cable news network to co-host “The Big Money show. On the same day, Fox Business will also debut “The Bottom Line,” a brand-new 6 p.m. programme hosted by former Wisconsin Republican congressman Sean Duffy and veteran Fox Business reporter Dagen McDowell.

The network’s president, Lauren Petterson, stated in a statement that “Fox Business has become the channel America comes to for its business news,” and that she was “eager to unveil new programming focused to major financial issues impacting homes across the country.” We are also excited to welcome Taylor Riggs to the FOX Business family, who will strengthen our strong portfolio of programming by joining Brian, Jackie, Dagen, and Sean as well.

In October, Petterson informed Variety that Fox Business was considering adding a few roundtable programmes to its schedule. He noted that the format added some vitality to TV shows that were broadcast live. “ “With programmes like ‘Outnumbered’ and ‘The Five,’ we have enjoyed tremendous success on the Fox News side,”

The Evening Edit with Elizabeth MacDonald will air at 5 p.m. on Fox Business as a result of the new shows, and “Cavuto Coast to Coast” will only last an hour instead of two.

Fox News has found that roundtables are a popular format because it allows the network to offer different staff members more screen time and help some of them become independent thinkers. The Big Saturday Show, “Gutfeld,” “The Five,” and “Outnumbered,” among others, all revolve around the roundtable.

McDowell and Duffy will examine money and politics in “The Bottom Line,” which will be fuelled by conversation and debate.
