Brian Gillis Cause of Death

The third and last member of the boy band LFO, Brian Gillis, died on March 29, 2023, at the age of 47. During the song Summer Girls, Rich Cronin took our Abercrombie and Fitch shirt onstage and performed the entire song while swinging it about. We saw them perform live many years ago at the Tulsa State Fair. I’m heartbroken. People are currently listening to select LFO tunes in response to the death news. The cause of death for Brian Gillis was listed as a heart attack.

LFO Band

Brian “Brizz” Gillis, a founding member of the pop and hip-hop group LFO or Lyte Funkie Ones, passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 47. Brad Fischetti, one of his bandmates, posted a black-and-white photo on Instagram as a memorial to Gillis.

Fischetti stated that he is having a hard time dealing with the loss and is looking for redemption in pain and suffering in addition to trying to bring light into the darkness. The post went on to explain that anyone who has seen the band perform live is aware of what Brian meant to LFO and that they are doing their best to preserve the vocalist’s legacy.

He claimed that the band wouldn’t have existed if the vocalist hadn’t put in so much effort and attention throughout the “first two chapters” of the band.

Brad reflected on his friendship with Brian Gillis and claimed that it had many wonderful moments and joys. He also said that Brian had taught him a lot about the music industry. Brad declared in his letter that he will keep using his knowledge.

Brad concluded by promising to continue his years-long practice of praying for Brian Gillis’ family. Fischetti also brought up Terry Edwards and Pistol Pete, two people who over the years had held a special place in Brian’s heart.

Brad Fischetti, Rich Cronin, and Brian Gillis established the band LFO, sometimes known as Lyte Funkie Ones, in 1995. The Way You Like It, the group’s first single, was released in 1997. Step by Step followed the same year. Can’t Have You, their third single, was made available in 1998.

Once the band’s third single was out, though, Gillis left and began a solo career, working on college tours. A hardware store employee named Devin Lima joined the band after the other two band members orchestrated an audition for him.
