There is no denying that Dasara, the directorial debut of Srikanth Odela, is a mixed bag. On the one hand, the movie is aesthetically compelling, the characters appear like they have more to offer, and the atmosphere gives off the impression that everything is going to fall apart. On the other side, Srikanth introduces issues that he either never completely develops or, worse still, ties up in a hurried manner.
