The writer, director, actress, and combat choreographer Diana Lee Inosanto has a deal with Gersh. Inosanto is the daughter of renowned martial artist Dan Inosanto and the goddaughter of famed martial artist and actor Bruce Lee. Inosanto will reprise her role as Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth in The Mandalorian and make an appearance in Disney+’s Star Wars spinoff Ahsoka TV series.
Inosanto performed stunts in films including Face/Off and Hulk. She also taught martial arts to Melissa McCarthy, who portrayed CIA analyst Susan Cooper in the spy film Spy, and Rosa Salazar in Alita: Battle Angel.
Inosanto and her husband Ron Balicki of MARS Action Group choreographed the battle designs for the animated movie Tiger’s Apprentice for which she will also play a supporting lead.
Along with The Mark Gordon Company, she co-wrote, directed, and featured in the independent film The Sensei, which tells the tale of Dan Inosanto, a major player in the covert training scheme that helped the Dallas Cowboys win Super Bowl XII in 1977.
Inosanto will also be directing the action film 10 Deaths One Funeral, which was written by Jesse Molloy and will be produced by James Roland and Mark Wheeler.
