According to Dr. Mark Saginor’s daughter, ugh Hefner’s male personal physician was his one true love throughout all of his marriages and relationships.
In the latest episode of the A&E documentary series Secrets of Playboy, which explores the less savoury aspects of the history of the media conglomerate, the late Playboy founder’s love life was put under the metaphorical microscope.
In the episode, author Jennifer Saginor claimed that her father and Hefner shared a “spiritual connection” that led to Mark Saginor moving into the mogul’s famed Holmby Hills mansion. Saginor claims to have grown up in the Playboy Mansion.
I firmly believe that my father was the love of Hef’s life, the woman affirmed. “Over the years, my father genuinely sacrificed his family and career to be with him. Few men that I know would essentially give up their own lives in order to move into another man’s home.

Between 1976 and 1981, Hefner’s girlfriend Sondra Theodore said this about their relationship: “They took things pretty far. They progressed beyond being best buddies.
When asked about having had sexual relations with men, Hefner, who passed away in 2017, said on archival video: “When you’re involved in the swing period, the orgy period of the ’70s, there was more than a little bisexuality.”
But Jennifer claimed that Hefner and Mark Saginor’s friendship developed into something “a little bit more sinister,” as she related claims that hopeful actors and models were being transported between the Playboy Mansion and the houses of rich men for sex. She claimed, “It wasn’t about connecting. “I do think that knowing that was really the key with all these men.
