Imran Khan, a former Pakistani prime minister who had been found guilty of corruption in the Toshakhana case, was taken into custody by police at his home in Lahore. A Pakistani trial court gave him a three-year prison sentence for the offense of profiting from the sale of expensive state goods while he was in office.

Additional Khan was also given a Rs. 100,000 fine by District and Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar of Islamabad, who also warned that if he didn’t pay the fine, he would remain in jail for an additional six months. Khan might be excluded from politics by the ruling.

“Charges of misdeclaration of assets have been proven against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman,” Mr. Dilawar stated in his ruling.

  1. The man himself looks like an out and out criminal. His personal enmity against the legitimate P.M. Imran Khan has been well documented. His time will come, In Sha Allah, when IK is released and the people will provide him their own form of justice, since there is no law of the land in Pakistan. He and his cohorts in the so called judicial system, and the criminal imported government will soon see the error of their ways. They should all be tried, convicted and hanged in public as a lesson for future generations.
