He continued, “A lot of people are hesitant to approve something that hasn’t been completed by a reputable individual. I produced a ton of songs that I had written, but they always seemed to move in a different direction. The label or other party could then claim, “Oh, we had this person produce it.” And she said, “I love it,” despite the fact that I poured my heart and soul into that song.
