Kate Shaw Career
She is currently the co-director of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Professor and Floersheimer Center for Constitutional Democracy. She is a practising attorney and lecturer. Her teaching and research interests as a law professor include constitutional law, election law, administrative law, the Supreme Court, and gender and sexual orientation and law.
During her time at Northwestern University, Shaw served as the Law Review’s primary editor. She is a fellow of the US Administrative Conference as well. Her prior professional duties included doing administrative duties for judges such as Justice John Paul Stevens of the United States Supreme Court and Judge Richard A. Posner of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Over her career, she has won various awards and recognition in fields like teaching, research, lobbying, and media. Shaw received a residency at the Point B Worklodge in New York with the assistance of the Australian Council.
