Self-identified as “woke” The Post has discovered that Kelisa Wing, a Defense Department schools administrator whose anti-white social media posts received widespread attention last year, has been transferred to a different position.
After Wing’s rediscovered Twitter posts with derogatory remarks against white people, the Defense Department in October started a 30-day evaluation of her performance as the now-former top diversity, equity, and inclusion officer for the education activity.
She once stated in a post dated June 2020, using a portmanteau for “Caucasian audacity,” “I’m so exhausted at these white folx in these [professional development] sessions this girl actually had the audacity to suggest black people can be racist too.”
Wing’s job move occurred after the DoD had finished its investigation, but according to Gilbert Cisneros Jr., Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, it was not a “disciplinary action” but rather “part of a headquarters restructuring.”
The delayed response was regarded by a legislative source with direct knowledge of the situation as “an attempt to thwart comprehensive Congressional monitoring of DoDEA’s ideological operations that prohibit service member parents from contributing in their children’s schooling.”
A “service member parents bill of rights” would guarantee guardians of children attending DoD schools “have the right to be involved in their children’s education, while increasing transparency and accountability in DoDEA schools,” according to Stefanik’s office. Stefanik is continuing to advocate for the legislation, which is a subject close to her heart.
The information also comes roughly two weeks after The Post reported that since her scandal surfaced six months ago, DoDEA schools have seen a 1,250% spike in the quantity of Left-leaning children’s books by Wing are available in the school libraries.
The amount of her far-left children’s books lining the shelves of the DOD elementary, middle, and high schools under her supervision surged tenfold in the six months since her racially insensitive remarks received censure from the GOP.
Over 45 copies of books Wing co-authored were offered in 11 DOD school libraries in October, according to a Substack investigation by OpenTheBooks, a conservative nonprofit that tracks federal spending.
