Lauren Fried Profession
Lauren Fried is listed as the CEO of the Zonfrillo Group on LinkedIn, which her late husband, Jock Zonfrillo, founded. The entrepreneur is also the creator of Pulse Collective, a marketing firm that serves Australian clients.
Fried’s road to success was challenging, as it is for many successful people, because she lacked a godfather to show her the way. She began her career in 1999 at the McDonald’s Head Office in Australia, where she spent 4 years in the role of Retail Marketing Manager. She laid the cornerstone for Pulse Collective in December 2003, and within a short period of time, the company became well-known in the marketing sector.
Lauren’s devotion and hard work were recognised when she was awarded one of Australia’s 50 most important women entrepreneurs. Lauren has received various honours during her career thanks to her expertise in marketing and advertising.
She was also a board member for a number of organisations, including The Orana Foundation, iFLYflat, Rundle Mall Management Authority, and mwah. She has been a member of the ABC’s Gruen Panel since 2012 (Australian Broadcasting Corporation).
Lauren Fried News
Jock Zonfrillo, a beloved MasterChef Australia judge, passed away at the age of 46, shocking his wife and children after they returned from Rome.
In the hours following Jock’s discovery at 2am on May 1, according to entertainment reporter Peter Ford of Sunrise this morning, Lauren Fried, Jock’s wife, and their two youngest children were put on aircraft back to Australia.
The Glasgow-based award-winning chef was discovered in a hotel room in Melbourne only hours before the premiere of the new season of MasterChef. His death is not being looked into by the police.
Lauren Fried, a marketing specialist and longtime Gruen contributor, and his four daughters are among the survivors he leaves behind. The former Adelaide restaurateur and Lauren first communicated on Twitter in 2014. They later got married on January 1, 2017.
In his autobiography, Last Shot, Jock described meeting a woman at a Sydney event who, it turns out, had told Lauren about him, leading to her requesting to follow him on social media.
He wrote, “Lauren received a message from her buddy with a picture of me and a pitch: ‘Loz, I’ve found the ideal guy for you. He is a chef, a European, and he speaks with an accent. He is the ideal man, in every way. Even a champagne ambassador, he is!
“When Lauren returned to Sydney, a mutual acquaintance was supposed to introduce us, but that never happened.
Then, one night, as Lauren was purging old photos from her phone, one of her friend’s photos suddenly appeared.
