Dr. Manoj Soni was born in Mumbai on February 17, 1965.
He previously taught International Relations at Vallabh Vidyanagar’s Sardar Patel University (SPU).

He has held the vice chancellor position at both Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU Baroda) and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU).
