With his writing contributions to the book China Live: People Power and the Television Revolution, Mr. Chinoy has garnered attention. For this album, he has won numerous praises and prizes. The most prominent honours are the Emmy, Peabody, and Dupont awards, which were granted specifically for coverage of the Tiananmen Square crisis in 1989, as well as a Dupont Award for coverage of the Southeast Asian tsunami in 2004. The North Korean St. Martin’s Press went on to publish this book under the subtitle Meltdown: The Inside Account of the North Korean Nuclear Crisis.
