Naomi Watts News
According to Naomi Watts’ most recent Instagram post, Billy Crudup and Naomi Watts got married this past weekend.
Prior to dating, the “Eat, Pray, Love” actor and “I Heart Huckabees” actress were acquaintances. When Watts posted an Instagram snapshot of the two with the caption “Hitched,” she verified rumours that the couple was getting married on Saturday.
Watts also posted additional behind-the-scenes pictures from their wedding day on social media and disclosed that the place where she purchased her bouquet for the ceremony was a nearby deli.
Actors Liev Schreiber and Eva Mendes were also there at the Broadway party where Crudup and Watts were spotted together.
According to People, Watts dated Schreiber at the time; their relationship lasted 11 years before coming to an end in 2016. Alexander “Sasha” Pete, 15, and Samuel Kai, 14, are their two joint children.
Up until 2003, Crudup was romantically linked to Mary-Louise Parker. According to People, the couple has a 19-year-old son named William Atticus. From 2003 to 2006, Crudup dated Claire Danes. In the psychosexual drama about Jean Holloway (Watts), a therapist who becomes overly engaged in her patients’ lives, Watts and Crudup play a married couple.
Watts was present, reported People, to support Crudup during his solo off-Broadway performance. The Vineyard Theatre’s website describes “Harry Clarke” as “the story of a shy midwestern man leading an outrageous double life.”
Later that month, when asked explicitly about his relationship with Watts, Crudup told Entertainment Tonight that he intended to keep some aspects of his life secret.
He remarked, “I try to make it a point of not talking publicly either way about my personal life. If I’m continuously attempting to deceive people into believing I’m someone else, I don’t really see the use of them knowing too much about me.
