“Education is highly important in my family because both of my parents are doctors. They were a little let down that I didn’t pick medicine, but I was terrible at science! I decided to follow the law.

Nour, who was at the top of her class, gave her all to her legal studies to become a lawyer. But she still harboured a strong desire to become an actress, to take on many personas, and to express her creativity. “When I moved to Quebec, I wanted to do theatre even though I was completing my legal studies. But I didn’t see how I could make a career out of it.

The theatre has always been a hobby of mine; I even participated in the law school theatrical group. I’ve played since I was quite young. My parents enjoyed visiting me in the theatre since they knew I like going there and wanted to make it my career.

Nour keeps in mind to become an actor one day while becoming a lawyer because she is very realistic and believes in having a very strong plan B. Her parents, her two sisters, and she returned to Tunisia after a few years in Quebec. The family’s oldest member, Nour, decides to remain in Quebec because she enjoys her new life so much.

She applied for and earned her first role in the movie during her third year of law study at the institution. by Sophie Deraspe, “Antigone.” Her talent is so tremendous and her acting ambition is becoming a reality that she earned the Best Actress in a Supporting Role on Canadian Screens Award.

She kept going to auditions, got a role in A Reasonable Doubt, and eventually won the part of Inès in Indefensible, TVA’s first daily series, while working as a lawyer for an e-commerce business

I observed some pretty nice reactions when I revealed to the production team that I was a lawyer in real life. (Laughs) Being in such a series with such great performers is a dream come true for me as an actress. Being a lawyer, I can further affirm that I find it wonderful that viewers have access to so much common legal jargon.
