Raksha Bandhan Full Movie Download Telegram Link Filmyzilla, 123mkv, Filmymeet – Raksha Bandhan (transl. The link of protection) is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language family comedy-drama film directed by Aanand L. Rai written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon. It stars Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth, and Deepika Khanna. The film was released theatrically on August 11, 2022, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day. It earned mixed to excellent reviews from critics but was a commercial failure.
Story of Raksha Bandhan
Lala Kedarnath, the eldest and only brother of four sisters named Gayatri, Durga, Laxmi, and Saraswati, owns and operates a chaat business called Premlata Chat Bhandar, which his grandpa founded. On his dying bed, Lala pledges to his fragile mother that he will only marry after he has completed his obligation of marrying his sisters into acceptable families. Lala’s tireless efforts to marry off his sisters while keeping his family values fail, as he encounters difficulties in finding acceptable grooms owing to Laxmi’s dark color, Durga’s weight, and Saraswati’s male demeanor. At the same time, Lala’s devotion to his sisters is a major impediment to the development of his relationship with his childhood sweetheart Sapna.
Sapna, realizing the significance of Lala’s commitment, chooses to postpone his goal until it is completed. But her father, Harishankar, is continually nagging her to marry. Lala eventually collects 18 lakh (US$23,000) for Gayatri’s dowry. Gayatri marries a man. Following the wedding, it is revealed that Lala is not their biological brother and that their mother adopted him many years ago after his biological mother died near the temple. Lala sells his one kidney to raise funds for Durga and Laxmi’s wedding, but things don’t go as planned when Gayatri commits herself by taking poison. Her husband and in-laws demanded additional dowry. She didn’t say anything to Lala since she didn’t want him to be stressed out further.
Lala recognizes the curse of the dowry system and resolves to make his other three sisters capable of choosing their own grooms and marrying without a dowry in the future.
Lala severed all links with Sapna and requests that she marry the man of her father’s choosing. Harishankar realizes Sapna is still in love with Lala on her wedding day and urges her to terminate the alliance. Sapna resolves to end the marriage and wait for Lala.
Laxmi marries Swapnil, with whom Sapna was engaged, but he falls for Laxmi when she breaks the engagement. Durga completes her education and goes on to become a lawyer, where she has Gayathri’s husband punished by putting him to prison on dowry charges. She later marries a classmate. Saraswati becomes a cop and marries one of her coworkers. Finally, at the age of 60, Lala marries Sapna, fulfilling his mother’s request.
