Sergio Perera Wikipedia, Wiki, Wife, Recipe, Chris Hemsworth, Chef – After bringing in notable chefs like Jamie Oliver and Eddie Stewart, MasterChef Australia 2023 will now feature Sergio Perera in a fun game of Beat the Chef.
After serving the finest dish to the judges in round one of the tournament on May 25, one cook will square off against Perera, competing for a free pass from Sunday’s elimination and a $10,000 Harvey Norman gift card.
Perera, who is based in Australia, has experience working in some of the best restaurants in the world, including elBulli, which is run by the renowned Ferran Adrià.
Along with his culinary ambitions, Perera formed Arrel, a group that uses its think tank to advance sustainability and a worldwide food culture.
The Michelin-trained chef, who was born and reared in Spain, developed the culinary traditions of his own land and, through his study in Japan, broadened his skill set to include a variety of world cuisines.
At the age of 15, Perera started working in the kitchen, sourcing healthy and fresh ingredients from reputable farmers, butchers, and fishermen. When he became 22 years old, he later began studying nutrition science.
Which famous people has he collaborated with?
Celebrity chefs Chris Hemsworth (as his personal chef and on the Centr platform), Elsa Pataky, Robert Downey Jr., and Leonardo DiCaprio have all worked with renowned chef and nutrition expert Perera.
But in 2007, when he had to step in for a friend for a few weeks and cook for Tom Cruise, that was when he got his big break.
According to him, “from that point on, I immediately got into the Hollywood scene and made a name for myself – all word of mouth through clients,” he said in an interview with 9Honey earlier this year.
Then I obtained a nutritional science certification to aid me in creating custom diet plans for politicians, athletes, and other professions.
