Although many people don’t seem to be all that familiar with her name, they are undoubtedly familiar with the allegations made against her. This is Gary Coleman’s ex-wife, who starred in the film Different Strokes. In 2007, they were wed for less than a year before being divorced.
According to all accounts, their connections weren’t the finest, and things only grew murkier from there. There were several accusations made after Coleman’s passing, implying that she was somehow involved.
Coleman sought a restraining order against Shannon after their divorce. A lot of horrible things have to happen for this to occur. All of this presents a picture that is substantially different from what she claimed to have said throughout the trial. At the end of the day, the judge gave her nothing. She, too, experienced little change, though. She’s had a few small roles here and there over the years, but her dreams of becoming a major actress in Hollywood have never come true.
Even after everything that has occurred, it doesn’t seem like they are any closer to being a reality. In reality, the judge made clear that she wanted to inherit Coleman’s estate because she wanted to become an actress, believing that the public would associate the two of them together and boost her popularity.
