Simone Biles Career
Simone Biles competed in the American Classic in Houston in 2011 to make her professional gymnastics debut. She placed third overall, first in the vault and balancing beam events, fourth in the floor exercise, and ninth in the uneven bars competition. The same year, she participated in the US Classic in Chicago, where she placed 20th in the all-around competitions.
She participated in the 2012 Texas-based American Classic. In the all-around competition, she came in first place. In the same year, she also competes at the US National Championships in Missouri, the US Classic in Chicago, and the USA Gymnastics National Championships. She was also chosen for the US Junior National Team. Her senior international debut took place in 2013 at the American Cup, a FIG World Cup Event.
Biles won the U.S. all-around title three times in a row in 2015, making her the first woman to do it since Kim Zmeskal in 1992. At the 2015 World Championships, she successfully completed her hat trick of all-around victories. She also shared the team victory and won the floor exercise and balancing beam events as well as the vault bronze medal.
