She then continued on to the Rivers State College of Art and Science, Rumuola, Port Harcourt, where she graduated in 2002 with a diploma in law.
Okotete attended Benson Idahosa University in Benin City to complete her studies. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Diplomacy in 2006 and a Certificate for Emerging Leaders from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in Boston, USA, in 2012.
The National Open University of Nigeria awarded Okotete a master’s degree in peace studies and conflict resolution, and she is currently working toward a master’s in public administration.
