The UJ-22 “Airborne” is an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) manufactured by UKRJET of Ukraine. The type is billed as a multi-purpose, multi-role Platform Capable of Operating in day, and night environments as well as all weather conditions. The aircraft is Conventionally arranged as an Airplane with Straight mainplanes at the front and a Single-finned, twin-planed tail unit at the rear. The airframe sits atop a wheeled, Fixed tricycle undercarriage for ground running and features a three-bladed Propeller unit at its Nose.

Over the modern battlefield, the UJ-22 can fulfill various roles related to Intelligence-Surveillance-Reconnaissance (ISR) including general scouting, artillery spotting, and Search and Rescue (SAR). In Peacetime, it can be used to assist in humanitarian operations as well as airborne research and rescue, security, and border/ maritime enforcement.

The UJ-22 is Operated by Controller via a HOTAS (Hands-On-Throttle-and-Stick) arrangement through a Ground Control Station. The System includes a tracking antenna, spare parts, and tools, as well as all transport containers needed to shuffle the Complete System. The Aircraft’s Payload is Modular to an extent, able to take on Various optics fits (Playloads up to 20 Kilograms) as needed by the Customer.

The Aircraft can reach speeds of 160 km/h and cruise nearly 120 Kmh while flying at altitudes up to 6,000 meters. Range by the GCS is up to 100 kilometers while its autonomous function gives it legs out to 800 kilometers. The System requires just three minutes to Prep from Unpacking to Flight.
